Description
This Yarn Art is a one-of-a-kind art created by the indigenous Huichol people of Nayarit, Mexico. It is known as Nierikas and is made with colorful yarns applied using a natural adhesive mixture of beeswax and resin over a wood board. It represents the visions of the Huichol shamans during the ritual ceremonies.
