Description
This Yarn Art is a one-of-a-kind art created by the indigenous Tepejuano people of Nayarit, Mexico. It is made with colored yarns applied using a natural adhesive mixture of beeswax and resin over a wooden board representing the visions of the shamans during the ritual ceremonies.

The description: “The hummingbird is the third envoy of the healer to the Rain God so that it rains well and the harvests are good. The feathers are for purifying things and the tobacco is to heal patients.”
