Description
This Yarn Art is a one-of-a-kind art created by the indigenous Huichol people of Nayarit, Mexico. It is known as Nierikas and is made with colored yarns applied using a natural adhesive mixture of beeswax and resin over a wood board representing the visions of the Huichol shamans during the ritual ceremonies.
Flowers: All flowers are considered sacred and must appear in the Huichol religious ceremonies.
