Description
This design is inspired by a traditional Wixárika (Huichol) ritual performed by shamans to guide children toward good paths and protect them from negative spirits.
The shaman places sacred offerings—such as peyote, God’s Eye, tamales, and corn fields—near the fire and drum, creating a symbolic setting of prayer and purification. Using a feathered arrow, the shaman purifies the children and mothers, blessing them with strength and spiritual clarity. This ceremony reflects the Wixárika people’s deep respect for nature, the gods, and the continuity of life through generations.
