Description
This Yarn Art is a one-of-a-kind art created by the indigenous Tepejuano people of Nayarit, Mexico. It is made with colored yarns applied using a natural adhesive mixture of beeswax and resin over a wooden board representing the visions of the shamans during the ritual ceremonies.

The description: “In the river, there is fish for people to eat. The healer obtains the power from the Sun to heal. The turtle is the first envoy of the healer to the Water God.”
