Description
This Yarn Art is a one-of-a-kind art created by the indigenous Huichol people of Nayarit, Mexico. It is made with colored yarns applied using a natural adhesive mixture of beeswax and resin over a wooden board representing the visions of the shamans during the ritual ceremonies.

The description: “The ceremonial center of the sacred peyote and the land. The shaman gives his power and magic to protect our families in their sacred places. The cardinal points are to protect our families and our wishes.”
