Description
This Yarn Art is a one-of-a-kind art created by the indigenous Tepejuano people of Nayarit, Mexico. It is made with colored yarns applied using a natural adhesive mixture of beeswax and resin over a wooden board representing the visions of the shamans during the ritual ceremonies.

The description: “In the sun, the healer obtains the power to cure sick people and he uses the feathers, the pipe, and the tobacco leaves. On the moon, he discovers the secrets of wisdom. The hummingbird is the third envoy of the healer to the Rain God.”
